Best virtual staging software in 2026, compared honestly

Seven tools. Every price below was read on the vendor's own pricing page on 26 September 2026. We make one of them, Roomstill, so this page says plainly where the others are better. There is no best tool in the abstract, only a best tool for your volume and your portal.

Amounts stay in the currency the vendor shows: converting at today's rate gives a number that changes every morning. BoxBrownie showed euros to our browser in France. Per-image figures are the vendor's own where it prints one (Pedra, Virtual Staging AI, ReimagineHome); for Roomstill and Collov they are the plan price divided by its quota.

Available in the UK and the EU?

Virtual Staging AI is not. Its pricing page, opened from Europe, shows: “We don't currently support customers in the EU, EEA, or UK. You're welcome to browse, but you won't be able to subscribe at this time.” For a British or European agent, that removes one of the best-known names from the list.

Pedra is a Spanish company pricing in euros, and BoxBrownie showed euro prices and a UK phone number to a visitor from France. Roomstill is French and sells in euros, to the UK and the EU. For Collov, ReimagineHome and Interior AI, the pricing pages say nothing about where they sell, and we did not go through their checkouts, so we make no claim either way.

Roomstill

What it costs: €7.99 for 40 renders and €17.99 for 150, both one-off; Pro at €49 a month for 300 renders, or €390 a year; Agency at €399 a month for 3,000 renders across a team. One watermarked render a day is free, without an account.

Where it is strongest: the only one of the seven that sells without a subscription; walls, windows, doors, framing and light held in every request to the engine; a download that gives the untouched photo and the staged render together, named for upload, which is what Rightmove and several MLSs ask for; an optional AI disclosure burned into the render. Day-to-dusk, sky, season and enhancement edits run on the same credits.

Where others are better: no floor plans, no API, no property videos, no 360° tours, no human editor, and no way yet to keep the same furniture across several photos of one room. It is also the newest name here, with no client base to show.

Pedra

What it costs: Pro at €29 a month for 100 credits, up to €120 for 600; annual from €239 for 1,200 credits to €1,008 for 7,200, or €0.19 down to €0.14 a credit. One credit per staged photo, two per floor-plan render. Sign-up gives 7 image credits, one video and one virtual tour, “No credit card required”.

Where it is better than us: far more in one subscription. Videos, 360° tours, floor-plan drawing and social media automation are unlimited, and API access is included. It refunds the credit automatically when a thumbs-down reflects a genuine issue with the output. Pedra says it is trusted by “30,000+ agencies”.

Virtual Staging AI

What it costs: billed monthly, $25 for 6 photos, $35 for 20, $79 for 60 and $139 for 150. Billed yearly, the same plans come to $16, $19, $39 and $79 a month, which is where the often-quoted “$16” comes from: that is $192 paid up front.

Where it is better than us: a 10-second turnaround, unlimited re-renders of each photo, image storage “forever” from the Standard plan, and API access on Enterprise. It also runs affiliate and white-label programmes. But it does not sell to the UK, the EU or the EEA.

BoxBrownie

What it costs: €21.00 per virtually staged image, €3.50 for day-to-dusk, €1.40 for image enhancement, €21.00 and up for redrawn floor plans, €21.00 to €154.00 for a virtual renovation. Pay per image, no subscription.

Where it is better than us: it is a service, not software. People do the work, which suits the one hero image that must be flawless. It also covers far more than staging: floor plans, 3D renders, virtual tours, site plans, copywriting. At €21 an image it is expensive for a catalogue, and fair for one photo that matters.

Collov AI

What it costs: shown billed yearly: $19 a month ($228) for 60 photo credits, $49 ($588) for 150, $79 ($948) for 263, $127 ($1,524) for 526. Free trials are offered per feature, watermarked.

Where it is better than us: multi-angle staging, which applies the same furniture across several photos of the same room. That is a real need on a listing, and we do not have it. It also advertises a one-click virtual staging disclaimer, a commercial photo licence, 360° panoramas and AI video tours on the higher plans.

ReimagineHome

What it costs: $19 a month for 30 credits, $36 for 200, $59 for 400, $119 for 900. New users get 5 free designs, “No card required for free trial”.

Where it is better than us: the widest menu of edits of the seven, from landscaping and hardscaping to object removal, wall repainting and furniture swaps, with a conversational editing flow and real products you can buy placed in the room. CRMLS names it in its own guidance as a tool that adds a watermark to every image automatically.

Interior AI

What it costs: Pro at $49 a month for 1,000 designs; virtual staging is listed from Premium, $99 a month for 5,000 designs, or $49 a month billed yearly ($599). Ultra is $199 a month.

Where it is better than us: sheer volume and range. Walkthrough videos, a VR walk-through, wall painting, lighting changes and upscaling, with thousands of generations a month. It is built for designers and homeowners exploring styles as much as for listings.

Which one to pick, depending on what you do

  • A few listings a month. A subscription keeps billing when the listings stop. Roomstill's packs are paid once; none of the other six sells a one-off AI pack.
  • You need floor plans, videos or an API. Take Pedra. We do none of the three.
  • Several photos of the same room must match. Take Collov, for its multi-angle staging.
  • One photo, and it has to be perfect. Take BoxBrownie: a person does it.
  • You are in the US and want the fastest turnaround. Virtual Staging AI, if you are outside the UK and the EU.
  • Your photos go on Rightmove or an MLS with disclosure rules. Roomstill, for the photo pair and the optional burned-in label. Check your portal's rule first: Rightmove, MLS rules.

What is the best virtual staging software for realtors?

It depends on volume and what else you need. Pedra for floor plans, videos and an API; BoxBrownie for one flawless image done by a person; Collov for matching furniture across photos; Roomstill for low volume without a subscription and for disclosure-ready photo pairs.

What is the cheapest virtual staging software?

At full use of the plan: Roomstill's annual plan at about €0.11 a render, ReimagineHome's Agency plan at $0.13 a credit, Pedra's largest annual plan at €0.14 a credit. For low volume, Roomstill's €7.99 pack of 40 renders is the only one-off option of the seven.

Can I use Virtual Staging AI in the UK or EU?

Not as of 26 September 2026: its pricing page tells European visitors it does not support customers in the EU, EEA or UK and that they cannot subscribe.

Is there free virtual staging software?

Pedra gives 7 image credits at sign-up, ReimagineHome 5 free designs, both without a card. Collov has watermarked free trials. Roomstill gives one watermarked render a day per device, without an account.
