Abandoned Andalusian hacienda: before & after

AI-generated concept, not a real renovation. Every image on this page, before and after, was made with AI. There is no real property, no building work and no cost behind them: they are ideas to look at, nothing more.

An abandoned whitewashed hacienda in the olive hills of Andalusia, reimagined five times: from above with its square courtyard, in the arched patio with its tiled fountain, in the grand salon, in a master bedroom with an arched window and on the pool terrace. Terracotta roof, whitewashed walls, glazed tiles, carved dark beams and warm lantern light: ideas for restoring a Spanish country house as a luxury home.

1. The hacienda from above

Before (AI concept): Aerial view of a whitewashed hacienda built around a square courtyard, with several roofs collapsed and open to the sky, dry grass and weeds in the courtyard around a small fountain, and olive trees and cypress beyond a dirt track. — Before

After (AI concept): The same hacienda from the same height with complete terracotta roofs, glowing windows, a clipped formal garden and a fountain in the courtyard, a lawn, stone paving and a turquoise pool at the corner. — After

Same building, same courtyard, same olive grove. The concept re-roofs every wing, replaces the weeds with a formal garden and adds a pool at the corner.

2. The arched courtyard

Before (AI concept): A courtyard with two storeys of arches and iron balconies, ivy climbing the columns, a cracked stone floor with weeds and a round dry stone fountain in the middle. — Before

After (AI concept): The same courtyard with clean cream and ochre walls, hanging lanterns, potted orange trees, a tiled fountain with running water and a cream open-top vintage sports car parked beside it. — After

Same arches, same balconies, same fountain position. The concept cleans the plaster, lays stone paving, hangs lanterns and parks a vintage convertible by a tiled fountain.

3. The grand salon

Before (AI concept): A tall vaulted salon with peeling plaster, a collapsed section of the ceiling with burnt beams, tall arched windows with broken shutters and a cracked terracotta floor with fallen debris. — Before

After (AI concept): The same salon with a repaired vault and dark wood beams, hanging lanterns, a large rug, armchairs and sofas around low tables, potted palms and warm light through the arched windows. — After

Same vault, same arched windows, same floor. The concept repairs the ceiling, restores the plaster and furnishes the room with sofas, a rug and hanging lanterns.

4. The master bedroom

Before (AI concept): An empty room with crumbling plaster walls, a cracked terracotta floor, wooden ceiling beams and an arched window with open shutters looking onto a courtyard. — Before

After (AI concept): The same room with smooth cream walls and a lit cove, a hanging lantern, a king bed with linen bedding and cushions, wooden bedside tables with lamps and the arched window open onto the courtyard. — After

Same arched window, same shape, same floor tiles. The concept smooths the walls, adds a king bed with linen, bedside lamps and a hanging lantern.

5. The pool terrace

Before (AI concept): A terrace at sunset with an empty cracked pool, weeds growing through the paving, a stone balustrade and an olive grove with hills behind, and the corner of the house on the right. — Before

After (AI concept): The same terrace with the pool filled with clear turquoise water, clean stone paving, teak loungers with cushions, small lanterns along the balustrade and manicured planting. — After

Same pool, same balustrade, same hills. The concept fills the pool, relays the paving and adds teak loungers and lanterns.

What Roomstill does, and what it does not

These concepts go further than Roomstill does: they can rebuild a roof, add glass or move a window. Roomstill starts from a photo of your own room, furnishes or restyles it, and keeps its walls, windows and doors where they are.
